Tiken Jah Fakoly to receive an award from Free Muse

General News

Exiled singer and campaigner, Tiken Jah Fakoly is to receive an award from Free Muse in recognition of his fight for freedom of expression. This is the first award of its kind from Freemuse, the only international organization that campaigns against censorship and promotes artistic freedom for musicians and composers.

The album includes the track, Open the Frontiers in which he talks about Africa being left behind, exposing the hypocrisy of border controls that allow free movement for Europeans but not Africans.
