Federspiel to Perform at WOMEX 2015

Austrian band Federspiel will be showcasing at world music expo WOMEX 2015. The band will be part of the Regional Stage in Club Duna (Palace of Arts) on Thursday, October 22nd at 22:30 (10.30 pm).

Federspiel is a brass-based band that also features vocals and clarinet. Federspiel’s musicians are influenced by pop, classical and jazz elements combined with the traditional sounds of Austria, Mexico and Central Europe along with a shot of humor and a contemporary edge.

The lineup includes Ayac-Iuan-Jimenez-Salvador on trumpet, flugelhorn and vocals; Frédéric Alvarado-Dupuy on clarinet and vocals; Matthias Werner on trombone and vocals; Philip Haas on trumpet, flugelhorn and vocals; Roland Eitzinger on tuba and vocals; Simon Zöchbauer on trumpet, zither and vocals; Thomas Winalek on trombone, bass trumpet and vocals.
