Yo – Spirit Of Asia is set to perform on Friday, April 17, 2015 at Small World Music’s 13th Annual Asian Music Series in Toronto

World music act Yo performs music from the heart of Japan and the spirit of India, intertwining the ancient traditions of these cultures into a fresh, creative and stimulated vision. Yo is a word that means world community / this generation / this moment. The music of Yo celebrates global culture and community. This improvisational trio includes world-renowned masters Yutaka Oyama on shamisen, Akihisa Kominato on shakuhachi (bamboo flute), and Ty Burhoe on tabla.

Furthermore, he delved into the record business, producing world music studio albums and compilations.
