Malian kora maestro Ballaké Sissoko and American jazz flutist Nicole Mitchell will present “Beyond Black” on Friday, February 20, 2015 at 20:30 at Pôle Sud in Strasbourg (France).
The lineup includes Ballaké Sissoko on kora, Nicole Mitchell on flute, Babani Kone on vocals, Mankwe Ndosi on vocals, Jeff Parker on guitar, Fassery Diabaté on bala, Josh Abrams on bass, and Jovia Armstrong on percussion.
The concert brings together the finest of Manding music and Chicago jazz.
