British publication fRoots has announced the top nominees for the New Album and Best Reissue / Compilation for 2014.
The highly regarded fRoots Critics Poll focuses on world music, folk, and roots music. the panel includes 300 writers, broadcasters and activists. In addition to the New Album of 2014, there is a separate poll category for Reissues & Compilations and a Best Packaged Album category.
This year’s winners will be revealed by BBC Radio 3 during their World On 3 broadcast from 11 pm on Friday, December 5th and on fRoots on December 9th.
