Traditional Music from Mexico (ARC Music)

The compilation from ARC features romantic ballads and folk songs from Mexico. It includes a vocal trio accompanied by guitars, requinto, guitarrón, accordion, bass and percussion. Complete original lyrics are in the booklet, with explanations in English, German, French and Spanish.

Trio Azteca was formed in 1979 and has since played throughout the UK and Europe and appeared on British television many times. The album has 24 tracks. Our recommendations are ‘La Morena’ and ‘El Toro Zacamandu’ as well as ‘Ahualulco.’
