Brazilian Sensation Luísa Maita to Begin North American Tour in August 2011

Brazilian singer Luísa Maita, is set to launch a coast to coast North American tour starting beginning August 14th. Luísa Maita recently awarded as the “Best New Artist” at the 2011 Brazilian Music Awards, Brazil’s equivalent to a GRAMMY.

Luísa Maita exploded onto the international music scene last summer with her debut album Lero-Lero, released on Cumbancha Discovery.

Luísa Maita’s upcoming tour brings her to outdoor venues and festivals, theaters and intimate clubs including Stern Grove in San Francisco, Salmon Arm Folk Festival in British Columbia, the Chicago World Music Festival, Dakota Jazz Club in Minneapolis, and the Highline Ballroom in New York City.
