Global Thursdays Return to the The Arab American National Museum

World music concerts return to the Arab American National Museum in Dearborn (Michigan). Get acquainted with a leader of the new generation of rai musicians on Thursday, September 25 when the Ford-Comerica Global Thursdays world music concert series opens its 2008 Fall Season with a performance by MC Rai at the AANM.

The series continues with music from eastern Europe/Russia (Little Cow, October 2; Kal, October 16), India (Dya Singh, October 9; Prasanna, November 13), northern Africa (Malika Zarra, December 18), and Detroit (Black Bottom Collective, December 11), with most acts fusing traditional styles with jazz, classical and pop sounds.
