S.O.B.’s in New York will present the Queen of Soca Music, Alison Hinds, on Tuesday August 26th. The "Roll it Gal" gave a memorable performance last year, attracting a sell-out crowd and a surprise guest performance by reggae mega-star Shaggy.
Alison Hinds lastest disc, Soca Queen, with production from Salaam Remi (Nas, Fugees, Amy Winehouse) has been burning up dancehalls across the Caribbean. With her women-empowering lyrics and up-tempo dance tracks, Alison seems poised to follow the footsteps of fellow Bajan beauty, Rihanna, to superstardom.
