Broadcasting Berlin-Brandenburg (RBB) has announced it is shutting down Radiomultikulti, Berlin’s only multicultural and multilingual radio, the world music pioneer in Europe and heart of the World Music Charts Europe. The expected date of closure will be by the end of the year. It shall be replaced by Funkhaus Europa, a program by the Western German Broadcasting (WDR). But Radiomultikulti and its invaluable service to Berlin will be sorely missed.WOMEX has launched a campaign to save the cherished Radiomultikulti . The following links are related with the protest:
