Antonio Carmona plus special guests Locos Por Juana will perform in Miami Beach Friday April 11th, 2008. Carmona, former singer with flamenco pop pioneers Ketama has now launched a solo career. His new CD Vengo Venenoso (Universal Music Latino) is a collaboration with legendary Argentine producer Gustavo Santaolala, Academy Award, Golden Globes and multiple Grammy winner. Santaollala helped craft a selection of "bittersweet and poisonous songs" from the bolero tradition into an elegant masterpiece that showcases Carmona’s distinctive voice.Locos Por Juana is a Miami band, which is to say Colombia-Venezuela-Puerto Rico-Miami. Innovators of the AfroLatino dub sound that has become our city’s signature, they are now reaching a wider public. The new CD La Verdad will be released by Machete (Universal) in May. The single and video will be on rotation on MTV and MUN2 in March, and the group was named one of the top 15 bands to watch by iTunes.
