Flamenco Festival 2008 Brings Spain’s Greatest Stars to U.S. Stage

Five American cities, Miami, Washington DC, Boston, Los Angeles and New York will present Flamenco Festival 2008. The festival features some of Spain’s finest singers, guitarists and dancers. Flamenco Festival 2008 is supported by Spain’s INAEM (National Institute for the Performing Arts and Music) and the Andalusian Flamenco Agency. Flamenco Festival 2008 also travels to Montreal, London, Paris and Brussels.

The shows include "Cuatro Esquinas" with Carmen Linares, Miguel Poveda, Juan Carlos Romero and Pastora Galván; guitar wizard Tomatito; and "Mujeres" (Women) with Merche Esmeralda, Belén Maya, Rocío Molina with special guest artist Diana Navarro; Ballet Flamenco Eva Yerbabuena; Flamenco innovators Son de la Frontera.MIAMI – Adrienne Arsht Center [formerly Carnival Center] for the Performing Arts
