GoodandEvil, (aka Danny Blume and Christian Castagno) are the honored producers of this year’s GRAMMY award winning album for Best Contemporary World Music — Wonder Wheel — Lyrics by Woody Guthrie, performed by The Klezmatics and released by the Jewish Music Group. Wonder Wheel is an innovative collaboration featuring never-before- published Guthrie lyrics borne of his tenure in Brooklyn’s Coney Island.

Danny Blume, present at the GRAMMY awards ceremony in Los Angeles, was thrilled when he heard the announcement. "Producing Wonder Wheel for The Klezmatics was a labor of love. The record blends influences of a musical, cultural, political, and personal nature, all of which are near and dear to me. Woody Guthrie is a great hero of ours. Working with his lyrics was truly an honor," said Blume.

GoodandEvil had two of their album projects nominated for GRAMMY awards this year. In addition to the GRAMMY winning Wonder Whee, GoodandEvil produced Sexotica, by Sex Mob, nominated in the GRAMMY category for Best Contemporary Jazz Album.

GoodandEvil was founded in 1995 and is based in Brooklyn, New York. Producers Blume and Castagno are multi-instrumentalists, writers, and re-mixers. They have a hit record in Latin America on Sony/BMG with new artist, Naty Botero. Their music has appeared in several feature films and television shows. Upcoming releases include tracks featuring Michael Stipe, Juanes, and Julieta Vanegas for Miguel Bose’s much anticipated album of duets. On the dance side, they have recently produced singles for Amanda Lepore, Cazwell, and Jody Watley.
