Peruvian Diva Eva Ayllón on Tour This Fall

New York City (New York), USA – Since her last release on Times
Square Records —

Eva! Leyenda Peruana
(TSQ-CD-9040) Eva Ayllon’s musical presence
continues to expand boundaries. In her commitment to broaden the awareness of
afro-Peruvian culture, Eva changed her residence from Lima, Peru to New Jersey
earlier this year. And since then, Eva and her group have been touring across
Europe, North America and Latin America extensively.
Eva! Leyenda Peruana
was extremely well received everywhere, and in
Germany it received the Critic’s choice award for best traditional recording.
The group is about to embark on another US and European tour to introduce new
cities and new countries to Eva Ayllon’s music. In December, Eva will return to
Lima to perform her first concert since her departure and to begin recording her
next album. The production will reveal a new approach to her style, with new
compositions and new arrangements of the fan-loved traditions, as well as,
featuring her versatility in the mastering of other genres. Eva will release a
new album and a live concert DVD in 2006.
