The September 21 concerts at the Park West are part of the 7th Annual World
Music Festival: Chicago 2005 featuring the best in international music, Sept. 16
– 22. Organized by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the weeklong
World Music Festival showcases both traditional and contemporary music from many
of the world’s diverse cultures. Festival events include a mix of free and

broadcasts and educational workshops presented in museums, parks, cultural
