‘Summer-Wind Music Season 2005’ Will Return to Shanghai, Jinshan Beach

Shanghai, China – (Xinhua-PRNewswire) Shanghai Jinshan District Government
announced today that the “Summer-Wind Music Season 2005” will begin on the
beaches of Shanghai Jinshan July 30th. The event will be hosted jointly by
Shanghai Jinshan People’s Government, Asia’s first music channel “Channel [V]” and Shanghai Media Group (SMG). Well known singers from the China mainland, Hong
Kong and Taiwan: BabyQ, Cyndi Wang, Wang Rong, Jones, HacKen Lee, Flower Music
Band, Hins, Daniel Zhang, Yumiko Cheng, Show, Shin, Joey Yung, Vivian, Stanley
Huang, Hi-Bomb and Nicholas Tse, will meet with over ten thousand fans on the
beach and trigger the strongest “Music Storm” of the summer with an endless
“music relay”.On June 28, representatives from the organizers, guests from various social
circles and nearly one hundred media from China and abroad attended the news
conference held in Beijing where Cyndi Wang, a singer from Taiwan, was present
to demonstrate support on behalf of the singers who will join this performance.

The Jinshan Beach is the longest coastline in Shanghai, which gives the city a
genuine ‘beach city’ feeling.

About Jinshan District

Jinshan, one of the 19 districts (counties) of Shanghai, is located in the
southwest of the city, north of the Hangzhou Bay and west of Zhejiang Province.
It is situated at the hub of the economic region linking Shanghai, Hangzhou and
Ningbo, and is inside the geographic ring of the Yangtze River Delta that is
only a two hours drive away.

Jinshan District has a total land area of 586 square kilometers (about 226
