El Imparable Transeunte (Circular Moves CIM7015, 2004)
Wagner Pa and Brazuca Matraca is a multinational band based in Barcelona formed by Spanish, Argentine and Brazilian musicians. The group sings in Spanish and Portuguese and combines various influences, from pop and DJ scratching to samba, bossa, jazz, reggae and other South American sounds. Unlike some of their Barcelona and Madrid mestizo colleagues who specialize in Flamenco and rumba-related hybrid sounds, Wagner Pá – Brazuca Matraca focus on the rhythms and melodies of the Americas. The band leans heavily towards a simple pop sound.
