Italy – Nuova Agricola Associazione has recently released its second CD called Dall’Alente a lu Serepenne, an emotional travel through the hills between these two rivers, the Alento and the Serepenne. This project was developed in Agrishtajele, a style creared by NAA, that rearranges the Abruzzi folk music tradition by wisely contaminating it with graftings of Salterello, reggae, and gypsy music.
Nuova Agricola Associazione is from Francavilla al Mare – Chieti – Italy. The
band has performed throughout Europe and is in the middle of a European tour. The official live video from NAA’s performance at Agrilaiv 2002 is now available at
http://www.arterialab.it.The songs, written by Graziano Zuccarino with the collaboration of Franco Liberati, talk about ordinary country life with strong irony mixed with passion, love and joy. The band line up is: Graziano Zuccarino (voice, guitar), Franco Liberati (drums), Fabio Duronio (guitar, voice), Maria Alessandra Piroddi (voice) and Luca Francavilla (bass).
